Our Philosophy

Our goal is to provide you with exceptional orthodontic treatment in the most caring, innovative, and comfortable environment possible.

Dr. Shefferman takes over 60 hours of continuing education each year (five times the annual requirements) so that we can provide the most up-to-date clinical methods. We pride ourselves in taking the time to explain our diagnosis and recommendations for your individual treatment plan, as well as communicate each procedure as we progress with your treatment.

Since 50% of our patients are adults, we provide state-of-the-art aesthetic braces, completely invisible braces that attach to the inside surfaces of the teeth, and even Invisalign®. Our close work with the leading experts in cosmetic dentistry and other specialty practices enable us to provide you with the most comprehensive care available. We believe that technical excellence and good communication are both required to create the best orthodontic result.

We pay particular attention to keeping your time in treatment to the absolute minimum. Maintaining an efficient, comfortable, and technically advanced office requires teamwork and organization. As part of these office policies, our sterilization procedures adhere to the highest standards as established by OSHA and the American Dental Association.

Whether you have come to our office reffered by another patient or by your dentist, you'll find that our staff is as warm and caring as any you are likely to meet. We are all dedicated to making your orthodontic experience a pleasurable one, and we look forward to helping you achieve a beautiful and healthy smile.
